This "Guide Rendezvous" is a way to get may different guides together in a fun setting to help activate stronger collaborations to help with insurance, policies, hiring, staff training, grants, permits, etc.
This event hosted in collaboration with Travel Oregon and OSU Sea Grant Tourism Program and Scovare Expeditions
Meet on board the Scovare Schooner "Rose" in Portland (Schooner Rose is the newest and most distinctive addition to our fleet! Tour operators expand US itineraries as demand rises
Tour operators are boosting their North America portfolios in response to rising interest from travelers seeking guided experiences closer to home. EF World Journeys has seen a 20% increase in US-based tour bookings this year, prompting the introduction of four new 2026 itineraries. Tauck reports that 2025 sales for US tours are outpacing previous years, particularly for national parks. Kensington Tours has noted a 60% year-over-year increase in US trips, driven by convenience and flexibility, while AdventureWomen has also added new national park tours, citing strong demand.
